Kayaker Rescued While Drift Towards Dam In Lancaster County
A kayaker was rescued after his boat overturned and he could not safely reboard on Saturday morning, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police. NLCRPD patrols were dispatched to a water rescue in the Middle Creek Waterfowl Refuge Impoundment where the kayaker was reportedly drifting towards the dam. Fire and rescue units were dispatched along with the Pennsylvania Gam Commission Game Wardens, in addition to the NLCRPD patrols. The man was able to reach shore by clinging to another kayaker who towed him to the shoreline. No injuries reported.

Trio Of Stranded Boaters Rescued From Rough Waters Of Hunterdon County Reservoir
Emergency crews were quick to rescue a man whose kayak overturned in a Hunterdon County reservoir — as well as the two good Samaritans who attempted to save him but overturned in their boat as well, authorities said. The man fell from his kayak due to “rough chop” at the Round Valley Recreational Area of the reservoir in Clinton just after 4 p.m. Monday, according to South Branch Emergency Services. UPDATED: Police, firefighters and EMS crews were called for a water rescue along the Garden State Parkway in Middlesex County on a report of a bridge jumper, authorities said. It turns out that a motorist mistook a skateboarder for a jumper, according to New Jersey State Police.
