Police are now searching for an armed and dangerous homicide suspect in the killing of a York man found dead at the start of the month, authorities announced Wednesday, May 6.
York City Police have identified Quinten Terrel Hutty, 44, as the suspect in the homicide of Nidair Jordon Collier, according to a warrant release issued by the department.
Officers responded around 5:30 a.m. on Friday, May 1, to the 200 block of South Hartley Street, where Collier was found dead in a breezeway between homes, according to police and the York County Coroner’s Office.

A motorcyclist is on the run after leading Virginia State Police on a dangerous chase, weaving through traffic, riding on sidewalks, and nearly striking multiple vehicles.
The incident unfolded in Fairfax County, where a trooper attempted to stop the rider for speeding shortly after 6 p.m. on Monday, May 4, along westbound I-66 in the Express Lanes near Monument Drive.
