Woman Killed By Train At Rhinecliff Station, Investigation Underway: Nysp A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train at a Hudson Valley train station on Saturday, April 25, authorities confirmed. The 68-year-old woman stepped onto the train tracks and was subsequently struck by an Amtrak train at the Rhinecliff Train Station in Rhinebeck, New York State Police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The scene has since been cleared and there is no threat to the public at this time, authorities said.
