Thirteen people throughout New Jersey have been arrested for their role in a human trafficking ring, authorities announced Friday, May 15.

A drug trafficking organization tied to suppliers in Mexico has been dismantled after a yearslong investigation into fentanyl, cocaine, and meth distribution across eastern Pennsylvania, Attorney General Dave Sunday announced on Monday, May 11.

Lindenhurst Creep, 21, Busted For Child Porn, Multiple Phones Seized: Police
A Long Island man was arrested Friday, May 8 for promoting and possessing child porn, police said.
Joseph Stangelo, 21, was detained at his home in Lindenhurst around 7:30 a.m. Friday, the Suffolk County Police Department said.
Cops received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force and searched Stangelo’s home, according to authorities. Investigators seized multiple cellphones during the search.
Stangelo was charged with possession and promotion of a sexual performance by a child, police said. His arraignment was scheduled for later Friday.
