The victim was Cross Kim Young, 75, of Uniondale, according to an updated release from Nassau County detectives. A car crashed into a fence, only to flee the scene in Washington Township on Wednesday, Dec. 31, authorities said. At 1 a.m., a Ford Focus crashed into a vinyl fence on Egg Harbor Road, destroying the structure, Washington Township police said. Investigators are looking for a Ford Focus between 2012 and 2018, police said.
