Teen Struck By Minivan After Running Into Morris County Road: Police
A teen who ran into a Morris County roadway was struck by a minivan, authorities said. The teen — whose identity was not released — was standing on the southbound side of Speedwell Avenue near Glenbrook Road when he ran into the roadway without using a crosswalk and was struck by a northbound Honda Odyssey around 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, Morris Plains Police Chief Michael Koroski said in a Monday release. Know This Car? Suspect At Large After 16-Year-Old Shot While Playing Basketball
Police are searching for a vehicle involved in the shooting of a 16-year-old teen who was shot once while playing basketball. The incident took around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Woodend Road in Stratford when the teen was hit by a bullet in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. The lone shooting victim was shot by someone in what appears to be a silver car, possibly a Honda, with a distinctive black front bumper, Eannotti said.
