Police arrested a man from Weston who now faces multiple charges after allegedly driving under the influence while running through a stop sign in Westport. An officer made a traffic stop after witnessing a vehicle run a stop sign on Saturday, Nov. 17 around midnight at the intersection of Weston Road and Main Street and continue to swerve and switch lanes. An area woman was allegedly driving drunk after being busted by police driving on the wrong side of the road in Greenwich. Officers on patrol at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday morning stopped Norwalk resident Maria Carmela Morales-Gramajo near the intersection of Sheep Hill Road and Apache Place after she was spotted driving in the wrong lane on East Putnam Avenue. New York State Police troopers busted a man from Putnam County for his third DWI during a stop on Route 202 in Somers. Troopers stopped Carmel resident George Gojcaj, 45, at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, after he made a violation while driving on Route 202.
