A student at Mahopac High School has been disciplined following an investigation into alleged racist behavior during a lacrosse game against New Rochelle last month. Two football coaches from rival Wayne high schools have been suspended due to a game that ended with an altercation Sept. 7, NorthJersey.com reports. Police in North Castle were recently called to Byram Hills High School in Armonk after a trio of parents were allegedly heckling referees at a lacrosse game. According to a North Castle police report released on Thursday, on May 5, Byram Hills High School Athletic Director Rob Castagna requested an officer for police presence at the press box for the conclusion of a lacrosse game as a precaution.
