A woman was killed, and a man was injured after a vehicle struck them in North Philadelphia, police told Daily Voice on Wednesday, April 1. The white Subaru Forester crashed through the front glass of Ciro’s Pizza on Bellmore Avenue in East Meadow, according to photos shared on Facebook by John F. At 5:05 p.m., a Nissan passenger vehicle was traveling north when the driver lost directional control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway to the left, traveled down an embankment and overturned, Christopher Postorino, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said.
