An Ulster County man will spend years in prison for assaulting and stabbing a man on a street in Orange County earlier this year, prosecutors said.
Marlboro resident Marvin Hampton, 26, was sentenced on Wednesday, Dec. 3 to six years in state prison, followed by three years of post-release supervision, after previously pleading guilty to second-degree assault in connection with a March stabbing in Newburgh, Orange County District Attorney David M. Person Of Interest Sought In Deadly Linden TGI Fridays Stabbing: Prosecutor
Officials are attempting to track down a person of interest in a fatal stabbing that occurred at TGI Fridays in Linden, authorities announced Wednesday, Nov. 19.
The person of interest in the Sunday, Nov. 9 stabbing is described as a Black man, who stands 6'9" and weighs 200 lbs., the Union County Prosecutor's Office said. He has shoulder length hair and dreadlocks and a black/gray patch beard, authorities said.
