Man Hit With TASER Device After Assaulting Officer During Valley Stream Arrest, Police Say
A Long Island man is facing multiple charges after police say he assaulted an officer during a disturbance investigation, sending the officer to the hospital with an injured elbow.
Officers responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance at a home in Valley Stream around 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, according to Nassau County Police.
During the investigation, Ubaldo Arismendi Lagreca, 28, became combative with officers and refused to follow instructions, police said. He then attempted to leave the scene and pushed an officer, sparking a struggle, according to police.
