A New York man confessed to murdering his wife, father, and step-grandmother in a shooting that erupted just as his wife—who had long tried to escape his abuse—called 911 begging for help.
Joshua Fowler, 26, of Cropseyville in Grafton, pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree murder in Rensselaer County Court on Monday, Nov. 24, court records show.

An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a York City man, authorities announced on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Jy’teek Christie, 23, of York City, was identified as the victim by the York County Coroner’s Office.
Police were called to the 200 block of West Jackson Street around 2:29 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, for reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found Christie lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
