Two Nabbed For Cocaine Possession On Long Island
Two people have been arrested for alleged possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia following a warrant search on Long Island.
The arrests took place around 7 p.m., Friday, April 8 in Westbury.
Following an investigation, narcotics/vice squad detectives searched a home at 9 Clover Lane and recovered quantities of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, said the Nassau County Police.
The suspects, William J. Jackson, age 40, and Karona Lambert, age 36, were located and placed into custody without incident, police said.

A Hudson Valley man with a warrant out for his arrest was one of two busted by New York State Police troopers with drugs and an illegal weapon during a traffic stop, officials announced.
Troopers from the Catskill barracks in Greene County stopped a 2004 Acura TSX on West Bridge Street in the Town of Catskill for violating traffic laws.
During the stop, police said that it was determined the driver, Angelo Salvatore, age 38, and his passenger, Dutchess County resident Michael Scalice, age 35, of Red Hook, were in possession of cocaine and heroin.

PA Driver Arrested After Crash, Pursuit On I-80
A Pennsylvania driver fled the scene of a single-car crash along I-80 in New Jersey and led police on a chase, authorities said.
Matthew Farrance, 32, fled after crashing in the westbound lanes at milepost 22.6 in Allamuchy (Warren County), NJ State Police said.
Troopers caught up with the driver near Johnsonburg Road, where they spotted him running, they said.

A shoplifter at Nordstroms inside the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island did all she could to avoid being apprehended, punching and biting an employee who attempted to stop her, police said.
In Nassau County, officers responded to the East Garden City mall shortly before 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, where there was a report of a robbery in progress at Nordstrom on Old Country Road.
