Orange Man Killed After Crashing Into 2 Trees On Route 280:

A 79-year-old Orange man was killed in a crash on Route 280 on Sunday, Sept. 14, authorities said. At 12:57 a.m., troopers responded to Route 280 east in Orange after a Honda SUV veered off the roadway, struck a mound of sand, overturned and crashed into two trees, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Joel Sterling, the driver of the Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

One person was killed in a three-car crash in Newark Monday, Sept. 15, authorities said. The crash occurred around 8 a.m. at Frelinghuysen Avenue and Foster Street, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. The collision remains under investigation, authorities said. A 51-year-old Lititz woman has died weeks after a rollover crash in North Cornwall Township, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Friday, Sept. 12. Rachel L. Lindemuth was pronounced dead at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem, according to the coroner. 3 Hospitalized After Car Slams Utility Pole In Ridgewood
Three people were hospitalized after a car crashed into a utility pole in Ridgewood on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 11, incident reporter Boyd A. Loving said. A white four-door sedan traveling south on Lincoln Avenue veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole head-on just before Highland Avenue, Loving said. Ridgewood Fire Department and EMS transported three victims to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Ridgewood police also responded to the crash.
