A 48-year-old man who had his license suspended four times for various offenses was arrested in Westchester over the weekend. An officer from the Scarsdale Police Department on patrol near the intersection of Heathcote Road and Palmer Avenue stopped Bronx resident John Adorno at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Friday, March 29, when an alarm sounded that his vehicle had a suspended or revoked registration. A Yorktown man surrendered himself into police custody in Yorktown after a warrant for his arrest was issued in White Plains. Kareem Newby, 35, was arrested and held on an arrest warrant on Saturday afternoon, after failing to appear in White Plains Family Court, which issued the warrant. Police said that Newby turned himself in on June 2 for the open warrant, which was issued by White Plains Family Court Judge Hal Greenwald.
